
Here on my blog, I try to share simple, everyday tips and tricks that can help make your life a little easier. But sometimes, the tips I want to share aren’t the ones I could write a whole blog post about! And because I just can’t screw up a good idea, I put it away to use at a later date. Today I will share some of those tips and tricks with you Thirteenth Edition In my ongoing series of “Why didn’t I think of that?”

1. Remove splinters with potatoes
Sometimes cancer is buried from interest So deep that you can’t reach it with tweezers. In those cases, grab a potato! Cut a small piece of raw potato and apply it on your skin where there is a splinter. Tap it with a Bandage (or any other tape you have), and leave it there overnight. 3. Deodorize with rice
Have a closet Or a room in your house that is smelling a bit? You can use dry Rice To freshen it up! Just put a cup or two of rice in it Mason Jar And add 10 drops of your favorite essential oil. Place a thin, breathable cloth (such as a flour sack towel or some cheesecloth) over the opening of the jar and secure it with a canning ring.

Place the jar in a closet or room that needs freshening, and leave it there for a week or so. Absorbent rice will help absorb it and remove it pungent smellAnd leave the area smelling fresher!

4. Wash small items in your dishwasher

7. Travel tip for shoes
When you’re packing for a trip, it can be difficult to figure out how to put your shoes in your luggage without getting them dirty. That’s why I always a Shower cap On hand!
