Learn all the details about the Valentine’s Day party I threw for my age daughter and her friends.

I threw a Valentine’s Day party for my wife and her friends and it was so much fun I wanted to share. I found some really cute Valentine party decorations and other goodies and the party ended up being a lot of fun. If you’re thinking of throwing a Valentine’s Day party, DO IT!
This post is sponsored by Hobby Lobby.
I have divided this post into three parts: decor, activity, and food.
Let’s get into the nitty-gritty!
Party decoration for Valentine’s Day
Some things to note:
All Valentine’s specific items are in the seasonal aisles of Hobby Lobby. They have so many cute things.
If you haven’t bought balloons from Hobby Lobby before, you’re missing out. They are a great price and have great colors, sets and special shapes. The whole party part is elite.
If you want to be able to make balloon garlands on a whim, get yourself a balloon pump. They’re not that much money and save you so much time (and dizziness).

The easiest way to make any kind of balloon arch or curtain is to use balloon tape. This is a clear plastic strip with small holes through which you can thread the tied end of the balloon.

I used command hooks and some matching twine to hang the garland on the wall over the fringe backdrop
Ok, now let’s get into the details of the craft we made. These charm necklaces are all the rage right now, so I knew the girls would love making them. I have everything on sale (wow!) and you have tons of charms left over to use for other crafts in the future.

Crafting supplies are required
The necklaces are super easy to put together. Simply use a jump ring to attach each charm to the necklace. The hardest part for the girls was choosing which mascots they wanted to use! lol This craft took our group of 12 and 13 year olds about 45 minutes to complete.

And the girls absolutely LOVED their initials on their necklaces. Don’t miss this.
The last detail from the party I wanted to share was this incredibly cute box of goodies with the words “LOVE” inside.

Isn’t it SO FUN?! It’s really well built so I’ll definitely keep it to use again next year. The girls loved it. It’s so perfect for a party, but I can also see filling it with goodies and giving it to someone. Like I said, the box is sturdy and has a magnetic latch so you can tie a ribbon around it and it would make such a cute gift.

The girls made their necklaces, then ate snacks. Then everyone came out to take a dip in ours hot tub and ended the night watching a cute movie.
Judging by the decibel levels of the giggles and squeals, I’d say the night was a smashing success.
