Random thoughts on a sunny Saturday morning:

1. Happy Fourth of July! I hope you enjoy celebrating with friends and family.

2. I can’t get over my summer nails. They are very long and shiny.

3. I am very excited. I’m making my mom’s room at the Cape for her. The room is designed around a pine dresser she had as a child and a few other antiques. We’re going for a classic Americana summer with a gallery wall of vintage oil paintings.

4. I just watched a great video on linen with an awesome tip. I like to wear linen, but I don’t like ironing. If you spray a little with water and pull the linen, it kind of falls into place (and it really works).

5. It was kind of a slow week on the blog (I took a little mini vacation with the family). We discussed:
