
We love rice crispy treats in our house and have for decades, so a A single-serving rice crispy treat A complete no-brainer! As far as I’m concerned the fact that these sweet, crunchy and slightly gooey treats are so quick and easy to make is the icing on the cake.
When I realized at Melissa Number 2 pencil Having posted about the Single-Serving Rice Krispie Treats, I dropped everything to make them ASAP! It was everything I hoped it would be, and now I’m looking forward to a reasonably sized rice crispy treat (or A chocolate chip cookie for one) whenever I like!

Single-Serving Rice Krispie Treats (Recipe)
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 4 large marshmallows
- 1 cup Rice Krispies cereal*
*Note: Rice Krispies are made with barley syrup, so they are not technically gluten-free. To make them gluten-free, use a gluten-free crispy rice cereal, such as Nature’s way Or Barbara’s.
Directions:
Add the butter to a small bowl and microwave until the butter melts, then add the marshmallows to the melted butter and return the bowl to the microwave. Microwave for about 15 seconds more, but keep an eye on the marshmallows – they will puff up a bit!
Remove the bowl from the microwave and stir in the melted butter and marshmallows until well combined. Add the cereal to the marshmallow mixture and stir until the cereal is evenly coated.
At this point, I like to pack it down a bit with my fingers and let it cool for a few minutes to get perfect. Rice Crispy Treats Effect But if you grab a spoon and dig in instead, that’s your prerogative!

- 2 Spoon Butter
- 4 Marshmallow Huge
- 1 Cup Rice Krispies Cereal

Place the butter in a small bowl and melt it in your microwave.

Add the marshmallows to the melted butter and return the bowl to the microwave and cook on high for about 15 seconds.

Remove the bowl from the microwave and stir in the melted butter and marshmallows until well combined.

Add the cereal and stir until the marshmallow mixture evenly coats the cereal, then press the mixture down with your fingers and let cool before eating.
