The holidays are behind us, things have slowed down a bit, and we don’t have as many gatherings to attend… but that doesn’t mean we can’t shut down the show! A good manicure is a great accessory regardless of the time of year. And beautiful winter nails are the best way to brighten up even a cold and dreary day.

Winter French Nails
French nails are always a good starting point to get creative. Sometimes, starting with a classic is the best way to break the mold and create something uniquely your own. Check out these beautiful, winter-inspired French nails we found…
Winter Blues
You know what they say, “If you can’t beat ’em, join ’em!” Take those winter blues and turn them into some pretty winter nails with cool blue French tips like these. I love that even in winter, a light, bright blue like this works beautifully!

Gold Bow French Tip
We all bonded at the moment… also focused on how cute these little gold bows are! Add some detail to one or all of your French tips by learning how to make adorable little bows for nail art.

Chrome tip winter nails
Find the silver linings on even the coldest winter day… it could be right at your fingertips! This chrome French tip design replaces the classic white tip with an icy silver to add just a touch of glam to your nails.

Winter Nail Designs
Embrace your artistic side and have one of these fun nail designs! Winter nail art can of course be inspired by the cold weather, and you’ll find snowflake nail art galore. However, do not forget that you have nails Yours A canvas to let your creativity shine! So try whatever winter nail art speaks to you!
Black and gold winter nails
New year, new nails! These nails look like the perfect way to get your year off to a great start! I love that the design is subtle, yet definitely attractive and keeps a consistent black and gold color scheme. Watch the video for these stunning nails here.

Nude snowflake winter nail art
I love subtle nail art like this! It speaks to the season without being too flashy or themed. These delicate snowflakes are a beautiful addition to nude, natural or French nails. These are the perfect winter nails if you want to get creative while keeping it classy.

Navy Daisy Nails
Stuck in winter with just a hint of spring around the corner? Yes please! That deep navy color says winter, but that cute little daisy says “Don’t worry, spring is coming!”

Pink snowflake winter nail design
Love the winter vibes but don’t need the colors? You do you! Mix it up by pairing a winter themed design with your favorite color. Although pale pink makes me think of spring, it works so well with delicate white snowflakes and other designs for winter!

Our favorite colors for winter nails
Just need a starting point, or want to stick to a solid nail color? Here are some of our favorites for this season! Winter nails never looked so good… These are the colors we love to embrace the season with our nails.
Basic white
Match the snowy weather with white fingers! I love this milky white shade by ORLY.

Shiny accents
Maybe it reminds me of glittery snow, or maybe it’s the holidays, but something about glittery nails just screams winter to me. I love how Essie combines some glitter nails with solid shades to mix it up a bit. It’s a great way to get creative without stressing over complicated nail art.

Bare chrome nails
Whether you call them Hailey Bieber nails, glittery donut nails, or just bare chrome nails, we think they’re perfect for winter! This subtle shade never gets old, and that chrome effect adds just enough glam to keep you looking fabulous during the colder months.

Emerald green
Take a cue from the beautiful evergreens this time of year and reflect the beauty of nature with a deep green color on your nails. Green might just be my favorite go-to winter nail idea.

Shades of winter
Can’t choose just one? Don’t worry—feature a different solid color on each nail! I love doing this when I can’t decide or see nail colors with different outfits.

All of these colors would work great for this idea:
Press-on, gel strip and design sticker for winter nails
My favorite shortcut to the perfect winter nail, whether it’s solid, glittery or decked out in a design? Press and stickers!
Semi cure gel nail strips
Like pressing on nails, semi-cured gel nail strips stick directly to your nails! However, these strips are customizable in length. You stick it on your nail, press it into place, trim, then cure with UV light. I have used it several times and it lasted two weeks!

For winter nails I like more semi-cured gel strips:
Press on winter nails
Whether you want a fun design without the stress (or breaking the bank at the nail salon) or are looking for a fun way to try something new, press on nails are a great option!

These are all great options for pressing on winter nails:
Winter Nail Design Stickers
To enhance any of your favorite colors, try nail stickers! This is probably the easiest option of the bunch, and there are many variations available online. These 3D snowflake stickers are perfect for adding winter details to any of your favorite nail colors.
