Want more kitchen storage without adding shelves or filling the counter with spice jars? This project reused an old leather briefcase and turned the empty space under the upper cabinet into a hidden spice storage.

In this project that narrow strip is used for something practical.
The briefcase is flush with the bottom of the cabinet, so it doesn’t block the backsplash or occupy the counter. Once closed, the case blends into the cabinet rather than looking like standard kitchen storage.
