Spring is officially here, and I felt that familiar itch to freshen up the house! A little spring cleaning, puttering and simple pleasures that make the new season feel special.

My daughter and grandson came on the first day of spring, and we all spent the day together. It started out as a rather gray, rainy afternoon, but somewhere in the middle of our puttering, the weather changed. The clouds parted, the sun streamed through the windows, and just like that, it felt like spring had sprung before our eyes! The sun made us so happy!

I find many of my favorite timeless pieces Wayfarer. They make it so easy to mix the timeless looks I love every day with classic seasonal pieces that make our home even more memorable (this especially makes me happy with the little ones around again!).

A simple floral idea for the season

One of my favorite seasonal traditions is to switch up what I display in mine Rattan plant. I have styled it in many different ways over the last year or so, but this time we decided to fill it with fresh flowers.

We found the most beautiful garden roses and some other blooms at the grocery store and made our own arrangements. We just used a few drinking glasses tucked inside PlanterTrimmed the stems, and arranged them from there.

It turned out so charming! You might want to pin this idea, I think it would make the sweetest centerpiece for any spring gathering or Easter table.

A few Easter touches

We filled small bowls with early Easter candy (we had to taste-test it to make sure it was all good before we served it to guests for the Easter gathering, right?).

I love these little bowls (This footed bowlAnd The basket bowl) for everything from plants to candy to seashells and more.

This Blue and white basket-style bowl It immediately reminded me of a classic Easter basket so I filled it with colorful sweets. This A bowl with legs Holding my personal favorite…a chocolate peanut butter cup.

my Floral bunny Returned this week after being pulled away last spring. (Yes, I have a thing for bunnies if you couldn’t tell. šŸ™‚ Maybe someday I need to visit every bunny rabbit in my house, ha!)

This Green and white bunny dishes This might be one of my favorite finds of the season. They each have different bunny designs that make them feel extra special.

I’ve been displaying some on a plate stand in a dish rack, and they’re just as beautiful for everyday use as they are for styling and gathering.

We also sipped lattes from Bunny mug When we putter-they are the most comfortable shape and size. Perfect to hold in your hand and I love the ruffled bottom. I know I want to reach for this every morning this spring.

This Plates and bowls But very beautiful. The edges of the plates are scalloped and the bowls have scalloped foot bases. Love the shape of the bowls.

A little spring shift around the kitchen

I’ve been rocking a few things to easily welcome the arrival of spring.

I brought mine Cobalt blue scallop lamp Back to the kitchen from the other room. It’s one of those pieces that I love to have around the house – it works everywhere.

I even changed my cafe curtains for it A pair of stripes I have used it in past seasons. It’s a simple change, but it makes the whole kitchen feel fresh again.

This Beautiful striped Crocs It has been used constantly since I got it for pots and flowers. They also come in other colors.

At the counter, my Drip coffee maker Sits on a beautiful Botanical Cork Placemat. These are heat resistant so we even use them under our toaster.

my Blue stove (lovingly named Beatrix) is ready for spring ripening. Lemon bars are at the top of my list. What do you like to bake this time of year?

Bringing in spring color

This Floral rug I’m back in the dining room, and while I love it year-round, it feels especially at home here in the spring. Sometimes I’m more of a subtle neutrals girl, but especially after a long winter I remember that bright pops of colors and patterns make me so happy! They also enliven the house.

I’m also enjoying the little pops of green throughout the house-Cabbage plates, Green and white dishes In a rack, and a mix of vessels used as both crocs and vases. Even the smallest touch changes the mood.

the lamp (color options)

my Bunny Pitcher (multiple color options) is beautiful just sitting empty, but filled with flowers, it’s the perfect container to bring spring into the room!

I still love my pretty ‘by the sink’ things…these Red and white porcelain trayAnd A Botanical Pitcher And Croc To hold my hand soap and dish brush. This setup works great for washing dishes and keeping kitchen counters clean. Plus, it’s so cute!

Happy Spring!
