Supplies you will need

How to make plastic spoon bugs
- Sand the back of the spoon and handles.


- Paint the handles brown.


- Paint the spoons in the colors of your choice.


- Let them dry and then apply another coat over everything.
- Use the handle end of the paintbrush to add polka dots.


- You can use a toothpick for small dots.


- Use the handle end of a paintbrush to add white for the eyes. Allow the white to dry completely.
- Add black dots to the white eyes using a toothpick.
Tip – You can use googly eyes instead of painting the eyes if you want. - Cut leaves from green felt.


- Draw the leaf veins with a green marker.


- Cut a small hole near the base of each leaf.


- Insert the handle of the spoon into the leaf hole until the leaf protrudes.


- Add a dab of hot glue to secure the bug to the pan.

- 1 The sheet felt green
- Paint: Brown Black and white and other colors of your choice
- Tools: Sandpaper Paintbrush, toothpick, scissors, hot glue gun, green marker
