Tips and ideas for organizing your entire home: a ten-week organizing challenge to create an efficient and functional home for a busy family.
Have you been organizing your brain lately? I have to admit that I did organize something right after Christmas, but I haven’t had much chance to think about it again in the last few busy weeks. We have a big construction project coming up that I will share about very soon that is taking up a lot of my attention.
One thing I did this past January was a complete purge and reorganization of our entire home over a period of ten weeks. I call it my ten-week organizing challenge, and I’ve written about it a lot over the past few years, as I’ve had to “repeat” the challenge in every home we’ve lived in.
The 10-week organizing challenge consists of working with our Command Center area and documentation; the kitchen, laundry and toilet, our bedroom, bathrooms, children’s rooms, our family/playroom space and the craft room/office. I tackle each area one week at a time to allow enough time to really focus on each space.
