NinjaDual zone of Air fryer Released in 2020 but there’s a good argument it’s still the UK’s best-loved air fryer, as well as one of Best Ninja Air Fryers in the brand’s line up.
It’s a fixture in thousands of kitchens across the country, but there’s one thing I think you should know before you buy it, as Kitchen Appliances Editor of Ideal Home: It’s very powerful. So much so, it takes a bit of a learning curve to get used to!
When I first commented on its strength reviewed it Back in 2022, and since then, I have recommended it to many friends This Beat the air fryer. I was sent a sample (please provided AO, where it is £179To see how it holds up. This is what I got.

Foodie Max Dual Zone AF400UK Air Fryer
This two-drawer air fryer is a classic for a reason with full capacity for family cooking and easy-to-use controls.
After testing the Ninja Dual Zone Air Fryer again, it is still the one I would recommend to all my friends and family when they are looking for a two-drawer model. Of course since then there have been whole new generations of air fryers, including incredibly helpful ones Multi-zone versionBut many people still prefer to stick to the two zones – where this air fryer excels.
The ability to match, coordinate or use each side individually is an ideal design for those catering to fussy eaters. And one of the biggest advantages of buying a Ninja Air Fryer over any other is that the interface is hard to beat. It is very easy so even those who are less inclined to indulge in any kind of cooking have no excuse.

But when I recommend this air fryer to them I always have to warn people that you have to proceed with caution on your first few cooking attempts with it because if you’re not used to its power level, things will come out a lot crispier than you bargained for.
This air fryer is so powerful that you even need to calibrate it to air fry it in the oven (which usually means 1/3 less cooking time). You will find that this air fryer is much faster than you expect, especially on the very popular MAX CRISP setting.
I forgot in my hiatus between re-testing this air fryer and was surprised by my first experiment with chicken and some vegetables. Although I’ve still been testing air fryers over the past few years, none of them (like the rival Ninja Crispy Or Doublestack) comes close in terms of absolute cooking capacity.
It’s no surprise that this air fryer performs so impressively when it comes to cooking considering its wattage. With a 2,400-watt figure in terms of power, it is the market leader for packing a punch when it comes to energy. But that doesn’t mean it’s necessarily a huge energy guzzler. Remember, it cooks things in a much faster time so you won’t need it for as long as compared to a less powerful option.
So if you’re thinking of investing in a dual zone air fryer and you want maximum power, I’ve found in my tests that the Ninja Dual Zone is as impressive as ever – even if it’s 6 years since its first release. Just remember that it may take less time than you think to start cooking!
