As the weather warms up, we all need a trusty fan to get us through those hot summer nights. Since my bedroom is in a top-floor loft conversion, it’s quite ripe, so I jumped at the chance to test out Meaco’s brand new offering: MeacoFan Sefte Pro 10″ Table Air Circulator (Available on Amazon).
What caught my attention the most about this new “whisper-quiet” model is not only the fact that it’s completely portable (goodbye, pesky cables!), but also that the battery is rechargeable and replaceable, making it more eco-friendly than others I’ve seen.

MeacoFan Sefte Pro 10″ Table Air Circulator: First Impressions and Set-up
Sleek and simple, the Safete Pro Table Air Circulator exceeds all my expectations when it comes to design – its modern look blends perfectly with my white bedroom walls, so I’m happy to leave it on all summer.
However, thanks to its built-in handle, lightweight build and compact size – measuring just 432 x 305 x 227 mm – it will be easy enough to tuck away in a cupboard if you prefer to keep it out of sight.
The fan comes with an instruction manual that is very easy to follow, although it took me a while to figure out how to remove the battery cover. I was super excited to find out that the device also comes with a charging cable and remote control, the back of which is glow-in-the-dark and magnetically attaches to the fan! My only negative is that I wish the charger was USB-C, because I’m forever losing the cable.
On the subject of charging, it takes just 3.5 hours to reach 100% battery, giving an impressive 40 hours of use – Keeping my house cool all day long

How the MeacoFan Sefte Pro 10″ Table Air Circulator performed
The Sefte Pro series comes in two models: pedestal and table. I chose the latter because it’s easy to carry from room to room, while the cordless design means I can easily place it anywhere in my home.
Since the battery is replaceable, the device should last much longer than many of its competitors, which is good news for both the planet and my bank account. You can operate the fan even while it’s charging, so you won’t be stranded without it even if the battery is running flat.
I hate any kind of noise when I’m trying to sleep, so I used to dread using my old fan every time summer came. Even with earplugs in, I could always hear the humming, and it drove me nuts. So, when I tested the MeacoFan Sefte Pro, I was pleasantly surprised that I couldn’t hear anything. Even without earplugs, my partner confirmed that it made “very little noise” and “definitely didn’t keep me from sleeping.”
For someone who gets cold at night, I was also happy to see that it comes with a remote control, which saves me from manually switching it off and waking up completely at 4 am. The remote can control speed, oscillation (both vertical and horizontal), timer, pause function and more. These settings can also be adjusted through the mobile app.
This thoughtfully designed fan also has a night mode, which turns off the LCD display and mutes the beeps so your sleep is undisturbed – something more appliance brands should embrace.
It offers 12 speeds and can project airflow up to 32 meters – almost the length of a Boeing 737. It also oscillates from 30° to 120° horizontally and from 20° to 65° vertically. If you want the room to feel cool and crisp when you come home, you can set an auto start and stop timer for anywhere between one and 12 hours.
Final thoughts
Perfect for sleeping, working or lounging around the house, this fan’s portable and whisper-quiet design makes it a great all-rounder wherever you want to use it. it is Best cooling fan I have never tested and I rave about it to my friends and family.
While I have seen rechargeable fans with lower price tags (Pick this one up from Dunelm for £36), I’ve never seen one with such long battery life, such oscillation, app control or a replaceable battery. However, it all depends on whether these features are important to you or if you just want something cheap that gets the job done.
For me personally, I’d rather invest in something a little more expensive that I know will last – and I like the fact that I can pack it with me on holiday to the UK if my hotel doesn’t have air conditioning.
