Some of my favorite family memories are from the 4th of July — beach trips, festive parades, backyard BBQs, fireworks, and getting together year after year.
I love adding a little touch of red, white and blue to our coastal home this time of year. Of course, I always decorate with blue and white, but adding a touch of red brings a classic American summer feel to the rooms we live in and love.
I want our family to remember summer mornings drinking coffee on the porch, barefoot kids running in and out of the house all day, peacocks around the firepit in the evenings, and cozy movie nights snuggled up.
It’s the little moments that make home feel nostalgic for me. And I love creating a home that feels ready for all of this.
