Happy weekend! We’re now fully settled into our summer routine and embracing all the 90s summer vibes: biking to the pool, coloring in coloring books, going to summer camp, having fun at swim meets, and spending lots of time with friends. I love how summer naturally draws us away from screens and into real-life fun. There is something special about long days filled with activity, sunshine, laughter and making memories together.
My husband is coaching our local summer swim team this year, and while it’s a lot of work, it’s also a lot of fun. The team also won its first swim meet of the season this past week!
We’ve also jumped on the fancy marker and adult coloring book trend this summer. It’s a great option for screen time and something relaxing while watching a movie in the evening. I ordered These markers And Coloring booksAnd my 10 year old hasn’t stopped coloring since they arrived. Honestly, I’m probably enjoying them as much as she is!
