How to make EDC (Extended Double Crochet).
This Extended Double Crochet (EDC) A variation of the standard double crochet stitch that adds a little extra height to the standard DC stitch. It is taller than double crochet (DC) but shorter than triple crochet (TR).

Continue alternating gray stitch rows and V-stitch rows until you have used the entire skein. In our example, we created 42 lines and ends with a V-stitch row.
Next, start with the second color and the next skein. Similarly, continue alternating the same two rows until you have used up the entire skein (17 rows).
Finally, start the 3rd skin (white color in our example) – 15 rows.
