‘Homeowners were returning customers.’ Alice explains how she got involved in the project. ‘We had previously worked together on their country cottage project, and this brought ease and a shared understanding to the design process. The project was for their London pied a terre, built by a developer.’
‘The brief was to create a contemporary, layered home that felt really comfortable and practical for a busy working couple and their dog,’ she explains. ‘While the Battersea Power Station development has a distinctive, urban character, we wanted to honor that strong architectural identity while introducing warmth, texture and softness, creating a space that feels inviting, light and easily livable.’

‘The scheme was heavily inspired by the location of the building and the striking architecture of the old power station,’ Ellis explains of the design.

Alice worked with Kate Ennis from art and design consultancy Mylo, who created an inventory of stunning artwork to complement the schemes and inject personality.
