I decorated my kitchen for Christmas!
I wanted to try a new color scheme this year but keep it classic enough to blend in with what I already have everywhere else, so I just added some dusty blue to my traditional color palette of red, white and green and I’m in LOVE. I think it’s so beautiful!

The unsung hero of this project was the Command™ products.
I used the medium Command™ wire hooks to attach the garland to my kitchen cabinets and the large Command™ utility hooks to hang the garland above my kitchen window. They worked great! Watch the video at the end of this post if you’d like some instructions for hanging wreaths on kitchen cabinets.
I used orange picks, berries and dried orange slices in the garland and it made the whole kitchen feel so cozy and old fashioned. love it!
The blue velvet ribbon is luxurious and adds such a beautiful pop of color. Although I will say it’s not the highest quality tape. But the color was exactly what I wanted and it still works!
We visited Germany and Switzerland last fall, so when I saw the floral jacquard ribbon, I had to include it. It adds so much folk charm and reminds me of our trip.
I also made a simple orange slice garland and bow to hang from my open shelves. Then I stuffed ornaments, greenery, pine cones and more orange slices into my vintage bowls and that’s it. Sweet and simple!
Anyway, I’m very happy with my beautiful Christmas kitchen and just wanted to share in case it gives you some creative inspiration.
