I’ve used earbuds to help me sleep for a while now, but I never expected a company to make earbuds specifically for sleep. of the anchor Soundcore Sleep A20 That’s right: earbuds designed to block out excess noise without pressing uncomfortably against your ears. I’ve been using them for over a year now and can’t recommend them enough.
Right now, these sleep earbuds are on sale $99.99 (Originally $179.99) That’s the lowest price during Best Buy’s flash sale—according to Price-tracking tools.
The Sleep A20 are not noise-canceling active earbuds, which is why they’re able to have such a small, unobtrusive form factor. Instead, they use an in-ear seal to create a natural noise barrier, which, in my opinion, works well enough to block sounds. They fit very comfortably and don’t press against your ears when you sleep on your side. Rarely do I wake up to one of them lost in the covers after a nightfall, but it does happen occasionally.
Battery life is 14 hours on sleep mode, including sounds from the Soundcore app (think white noise or relaxation sounds). If you have it in Bluetooth mode, where you can listen to Spotify or whatever you want, it’s eight hours, but the charging case gives it a total life of up to 80 hours between plug-ins.
What do you think so far?
The companion app is great, with lots of useful sleep features. You can turn off your earbuds after a set time, have a sleep tracker to record your sleep data, have a smart volume feature that increases or decreases the volume based on the sound in your room, perfect EQ and other features.
