Aldi Misting fans are selling for less than £3, and are a quick, easy way to keep you cool on the go.
Now that we had the hottest May day on record, I’m thinking about investing in this Best fans And Portable air conditioners Sooner than I expected. But luckily for me (and maybe you too), Aldi is dropping a helpful range of cooling products on Thursday (May 28).
And between the beds in the summer of Hawaii and Portable Air CoolerI came across this handy little misting fan. This is why I think it’s a must-have for your handbag or car this summer.
If you are wondering what Misting fans are worth itThe Ideal Home editors certainly think so. From Mr Fan to viral in the hands of Aldi Shark Flexbreeze HydrogoThis is clever fans How to copy Air conditioner works.
Misting fans actively cool the air instead of just moving it, making it more effective than a standard fan. By combining airflow with a very fine spray of water, misting fans work when water droplets hit warm air, causing it to evaporate, cooling the surrounding air. This is a process called evaporative cooling.
Plus, the fine mist can also have a cooling effect on your skin – perfect for when you’re hot on the go or using public transport.
While Aldi’s Ambiano Misting Fan is not as sophisticated as the above Shark model, or their latest ChillpillI was immediately intrigued by the Aldi Mr. Fan.

At just £2.99, Aldi’s Mr Fan is easily the cheapest I’ve come across. Quite simply, a fan attached to a spray bottle, this fan is both compact and lightweight. Aldi claims it’s ‘refreshingly effective’, and I agree you may get some short-term relief.
All you have to do is fill the 350ml tank with cold water, turn on the fan and squeeze the lever to enjoy the cooling mist. The fan also comes with a screwdriver and battery to get you set up in no time, and you can choose from blue, green, purple or pink colorways.
Now, I don’t think this Mr. Fan will magically cool your house, but I can see it being a great pick me up on the go. When I go to Ideal Home HQ, my commute involves sweaty, overcrowded trains and a small, handheld mister fan, like this one, that would be amazing in the summer months.
Alternatively, here are some more handheld fans we like.
If you struggle to keep cool on busy days, the handheld Mister Fan can be a definite game-changer. I can’t wait to try Aldi’s version!
