Why bother making DIY coasters? Well, I’m not usually an “A” person. But I really hate it when there is no coaster. I’ve seen enough damaged furniture to know how quickly an ice-cold glass of lemonade can do its job. And it’s not pretty. On the other hand, plain old coasters from discount stores are ugly. Basically, an afterthought, which is never part of good design, right? Plus, I love a good DIY decor craft project! Especially one that my house guests will actually use, and appreciate.
So we went out and found you tutorials for the coolest and classiest DIY coaster ideas out there! So now you can make it yourself and get something that matches your style. Simple handmade coasters from wood
DIY agate coasters can be beautiful, DIY resin coasters are durable, but sometimes there’s no substitute for using wood! Wood is a good idea because it will absorb excess condensation, is cheap and easy to find, and won’t be damaged by hot cups. Here are our favorite plans for making easy DIY coasters out of wood.
