11 Things I Wish I'd Bought Sooner (June Edition)

I don’t want to brag, but it’s not amazingly hot here in Texas. The weather has been sunny with a hint of rain and frequent thunderstorms keeping it cool.

I seriously think I fried eggs on the sidewalk before June. But so far, no proteins have been flipped onto concrete.

But let’s chat next week.

So for now, I’m calm, cool, collected and shopping.

Here are 11 things I wish I’d bought sooner (June edition).

1. Blue and white checked ruffled pants

Start off strong with these pants.

I ordered First them in black with ruffles And loved them so much, I ordered them Navy And these blue and white checked pants.

Quick fit note: I’m five feet tall, and these are not cut on me. I washed them to shrink them, and now the ruffles are right on my shoes.

They have an elastic waist, front pockets and the fabric is stretchy.

2. Handheld steamer

This is what I brought to the Favorite Things Party in College Station.

It heats up almost instantly, and you can turn the steam on and off with the click of a button.

It’s the best steamer I’ve found,d and it even folds up so you can travel with it.

// Screen Magnifier //

3. The screen magnifier

Have you ever seen this before?

It’s very nice. It takes your phone and magnifies it.

You can rotate it vertically or horizontally. It is perfect for scrolling or watching movies.

// Travel jewelry organizer//

4. The travel jewelry organizer

This is the fourth jewelry organizer I’ve bought to travel with, and I finally have a winner.

I just took it with me to College Station, and it’s amazing.

It has individual pockets that hold everything, so it doesn’t get tangled. And it’s small, so it doesn’t take up much space in a suitcase.

5. Summer beach t-shirt

Doesn’t this look like it came from Anthro?

And the knitting is of such good quality.

They fit large, so adjust the size you order based on the fit you want.

It’s super cheap and super cute for summer (And it would look great with ruffled gingham pants).

6. Foldable paper riser

I shared this last week, but I wanted to mention it again in case you missed it.

These look like books before you open them and they take up no storage. All you have to do is open them and velcro them in place.

They come in sets of six with 2 of each size.

// Immersion blender //

7. Emerson blender

I’m drinking a lot more smoothies now that I found this.

This is actually my newest favorite invention.

It is very easy to clean and use. I just put my smoothie ingredients in a glass and use it directly with the ingredients in the glass.

Nothing spills, and cleaning is very easy.

8. The retractable three-prong charger

Such is the challenge with chargers – each item requires a different type of charger with different ends.

I was forever changing different charger ends.

And then?

I got this three-prong charger. There is a charger for any device, all in one place.

We have it in the car and it’s retractable, so it’s always neat and tidy.

9. The portable desk

I’m always working or using a device, and I can’t always sit at a desk.

So I found this solution.

You can sit in bed or on the sofa, and this desk makes working easier. It has a top that folds up and down and also has a drawer on the side to hold glasses or pens. The lip on the bottom of the desk is perfect for iPads.
