There are hundreds of sofas currently available in the market, catering to different aesthetics and customer needs, many of which look the same. But once in a while, a sofa design that’s innovative and stands out from the rest manages to really impress me – and that’s the case with the just-launched sofa. King Living Delta 5 Storage Sofa.
Storage sofa Usually has a bad rep for two things – being heavy to accommodate the internal storage space and for being uncomfortable because a high level of comfort is usually sacrificed for the storage system during the design process. But the King Living Delta 5 is neither heavy nor uncomfortable – quite the opposite! It feels as comfortable as any regular sofa, not too hard or too soft. And the off-the-ground design with tapered legs doesn’t take away from the hidden storage compartment inside.
‘The collection is seamlessly integrated under the seats without adding bulk, while refined proportions, soft geometry and high-quality suspension ensure exceptional comfort,’ explains Chris Cook, head of design at King Living. ‘The under-seat storage compartment is deep and generous, fitting into the existing design of the sofa. Instead of adding bulk, it uses the space that’s already there. Visually, the collection is hidden.’

And to top it all off, it’s also modular – and if you know me, you know I love that. Modular sofa. King Living and I go way back (well, about two years, actually) because this is the brand from which I purchased my much-loved modular sofa, King Living 1977Which, like the Delta 5 sofa, comes with a removable cover. Another big advantage! So, based on my personal experience with my own sofa and having tried over 100 different modular sofas, I can confidently say that King Living is the best for building modular sofas.

The design of the Delta 5 sofa is based on the existing brand Delta sofaOne of King Living’s best-selling modular sofa designs that I’ve tried before in the brand’s London showroom, and this experience can also judge the comfort level of the new Delta 5 as the structure remains the same as the previous version (which is still available and not going anywhere) – but given a few updates.

What is the difference between a new and an old Delta sofa?
The original Delta, launched in 1998, established the modular philosophy that the sofa should be reconfigurable and adaptable to people’s lifestyles. Delta 5 honors that foundation and builds upon it significantly while evolving the aesthetic. Delta 5 introduces a soft, curved silhouette with new round chaise and curved corner modules, allowing configurations such as S-shapes that were not possible before,’ says Chris at King Living.
Curved sofa is one of the largest Sofa trends Over the past few years, and one that doesn’t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon. And since the original Delta featured an angular, almost mid-century modern-inspired look, giving the Delta 5 a curvy makeover makes perfect sense. And it makes the sofa more contemporary. But it’s also great that the new Delta 5 module is also fully compatible with the Delta sofa, so you can merge the two if you wish.
Another new addition is the King Connect bracket that allows you to rearrange the back cushions to either get more back support or allow for a deeper, more lounge setup.

And finally, a new accessory was added to the line-up – while the existing Delta sofa was already compatible with several smart home features, including a wireless charging side table and touchless gesture-controlled smart lights, the new drop also introduced a bolster headrest for extra neck support.
As for the price point, it’s by no means cheap, starting at £3678 for a three-seater; However, this is a sofa built to last, and it comes with a 25-year frame warranty. And King Living is currently running a sale which also includes a new sofa design – so instead of a claimed £3678, you can now pay just £1490.
The only downside is King Living’s delivery lead times. As the brand is based in Australia, its sofas are made in Asia, and it can take up to three months to place your order for your sofa. How long did it take to deliver mine. So keep that in mind while shopping.

Aissa sofa chair
There are many different ways to access sofa.com’s best-selling Aissa. It is available as a sofa bed which I have tried in the brand’s showroom and can attest to its high level of comfort. But you can also get a sofa version with built-in storage or opt for its modular counterpart.
Here at my job as Room Decor Editor Ideal homeI see and try many different sofas during the day. So I’m hard to impress when it comes to sofas, as I’m sure my colleagues will confirm. But learning and writing about the King Living Delta 5 sofa felt like one list of amazing benefits after another – it seems this sofa is too good to be true. And yet, it’s really good!
