I have been a leader in our church’s young women’s program Many years at this point. I love teenagers! Having attended more girls’ camps as a teenager than I ever did, I have a good idea of what kinds of crafts will go well with girls and work successfully while camping on a church camp budget. I thought I’d share a bunch of craft ideas that would be perfect at girls’ camp. If you are planning a camp, hope you find this list helpful.

Making bracelets at camp is great. This post has all the information you need to make every type of bracelet you can think of. I would say that T-Swift style bracelets with e-beads and letter beads have been the most popular bracelet styles in 2025-2026. Embroidery thread bracelets are not so popular because there is a learning curve and girls get frustrated.
Why this craft is great for camp: Buy beads and stretchy cord in bulk and you can make a lot of bracelets for not a lot of money. We like to leave bracelet making supplies on the table at camp so anyone who is bored or feeling awkward or anxious has something to keep their hands busy.

These beautiful keychains feature painted wooden beads. Girls can use it for car keys or hanging from a backpack zipper pull.
Why this craft is great for camp: This craft works well for a group because you can buy a large pack of beads and keychain hardware in bulk, then each girl can personalize her keychain by adding paint colors and charms or tassels.

We made these lip gloss charms at Girls Camp in 2025 and they were a smashing success. Girls loved this craft. They loved getting a nice lip gloss. They loved the chunky style of these unique ornaments. I definitely recommend this!
Why this craft is great for camp: You can buy a multi-pack of lip gloss and a big bulk pack of jewelry and every girl can put her own spin on it. Only need the help of a leader to make holes through the plastic.

Turn any small glass jar into a beautiful lantern decorated with pressed flowers.
Why this craft is great for camp: You can easily save glass jars ahead of time or ask for mason jar donations from your congregation, then buy a bulk order of a large packet of pressed flowers, a bottle of Mod Podge, some twine, and tea lights. There are so many parallels with light in the scriptures that you can make this craft, then use a lantern to illustrate a parable. Pressed flowers are very on-trend right now and our girls love making these! We used the lanterns as part of our faith, then the girls were able to take home as souvenirs to remember the camp.

Learn how to make bow shaped ornaments from beads.
Why this craft is great for camp: This craft only takes a few supplies and each girl can choose her favorite colors so all the keychains are unique. Bose are in hard trend in 2025/2026 so they will like this idea.

Get the look of abstract watercolor art using regular Crayola markers.
Why this craft is great for camp: Print quotes that match your girls’ camp theme ahead of time, then let the girls try out this fun technique. This is a great way to reinforce the lessons taught at camp.

Focus on the Book of Mormon And Be creative.
Why this craft is great for camp: Let the girls decorate the covers of this important book, then challenge them to read it! This tutorial recommends using acrylic craft paint, but that’s what I got Paint markers Very easy to use for girls.

Hair tinsel is shiny, fun and non-permanent. Girls love it!
Why this craft is great for camp: This activity promotes togetherness as the girls twirl it in each other’s hair. I bought this Hair tinsel pack For a camp a few years ago and it worked well (and it was enough for everyone to use.)

This style of necklace is very popular right now. My daughter and her friends made them at a Galentine’s Day party and I see all the girls actually wearing them over and over again, so this is a winning idea.
Why this craft is great for camp: you can get Huge packs of jewelery in bulk And then girls can personalize their necklaces. Or you can choose special charms that tie in with the devotionals you have throughout the camp so that the necklace becomes a keepsake full of spiritual reminders.

Add beads to your hair braids…a great girls camp activity!
Why this craft is great for camp: This is a great empathy building activity. All you need is pony beads and a small hair band.

All you need for this craft is duck tape and a ziplock bag. It is very straightforward and the pouch is very strong and waterproof.
Why this craft is great for camp: It’s cheap, easy and useful… and they make some pretty patterned duct tape these days.

Give the girls a small journal to use throughout camp and then let the girls decorate the cover.
I have found that washi tape and stickers are favorite supplies for the girls to use. The only other supplies you really need are a stack of pretty scrapbook paper, pens or markers, scissors, and some school glue sticks. And this is mine Favorite magazines We have bought in the past… they are small and cheap and the kraft paper covers are the perfect blank canvas.
If you have ideas for girls camp crafts that you’ve done with your girls in the past, share them in the comments. I would love to hear and hope it helps others too.
