I’m not a huge collector but I’m always on the lookout for special vintage cottage decor or handmade or one-of-a-kind items. Anything that can tell a story and give our home that feel I love.
The minute I saw this vintage blue and white goose planter (From this shop on Etsy) I knew it would be the perfect touch for our shelves or really anywhere.
People often ask me where I get such accessories. My favorite is when I stumble upon unexpected finds at local thrift and secondhand stores, but I also shop online. It seems especially good at supporting small businesses.
I try to find pieces that are versatile, like this swan, that I know will work in a few places around our house.
