Hello, friends! One of our favorite “staycation” activities is going to a local garden nursery. We go all year round, not just in the spring and summer, but of course it’s extra fun on a nice day.
Wherever we live I always find at least one beautiful nursery that I love to visit. Often I’ll come home with some new plants or gifts, but a lot of the time I just go for a wander! It is very therapeutic.
We love to stop by Christian’s Nursery. They also have many beautiful plants, a greenhouse, and a garden shop and gift shop. Sometimes they also have events like antique fairs or markets.
I’ve shared Christianson’s nursery a few times before.
You may remember that it was also his place Our daughter Courtney’s wedding A few years ago! This is a fun place to host an event. They have nice barns and outdoor areas.
I always love their little gift shop (Primrose Antiques & Gifts). They have a really fun variety of vintage items, books, gifts and even locally handmade clothing and adorable toys for little ones.
Whether you are in the area for vacation, or just want a sunny day adventure from Seattle, I would definitely recommend stopping here.
The only thing that would make this place better would be a charming coffee shop here! I’ve seen coffee and food carts here for weekends or events, which are fun, but not a permanent feature.
Their greenhouses are gorgeous! If I lived on a large property I would love to have my own greenhouse. But I live on a small lot, so I live for all these visits.
Not pictured: Our dogs! But we love that they allow dogs to visit, we bring them every time we come here. Our dogs are obsessed with everything in Christianity.
They also have bunnies and chickens and llamas, so it’s a fun place for kids and the whole family.
