I got my hands on the Diptyque Summer Advent Calendar

Traditionally, Advent calendars are reserved for winter only, being opened each day in December in the lead up to the big day – Christmas Day. But have you heard of summer advent calendars? That’s right, they’re a thing now Diptyque’s Summer Essentials The calendar lands online and in stores – and I got my hands on this very exclusive and luxurious box of goodies, which retails for £235.

Unlike conventional The best advent calendars Which comes with 24 or 25 small gifts – including luxuries Diptyque and Jo Malone Advent Calendars – Diptyque’s summer advent calendar consists of only 10 products, three of which The best scented candles – New, limited edition 70g Pinede (pine grove) candleA mini Citronella (lemongrass) candle To keep the mistakes away and a small one fig tree Which is the brand’s best seller and classic, perfect for summer.

Some of the products included are full sized but still very travel friendly which is what we all need for summer holidays. The £235 price point may seem steep at first glance – but it’s essentially £23.50 per product which isn’t. K Bad in my opinion, especially since they are all Diptyque products that are beautiful, high quality and known to be on the higher end of the spectrum.

Even though this is the first I’ve heard of Diptyque’s summer advent calendar, it turns out it’s not the first time the brand has done something like this in recent years. But I must admit they have managed to fly under my radar so far.

Every year, the box has a different design that is a work of art in its own right, this year included. For this summer collection, Diptyque partnered with mosaic artist Mathilde Jonquiere who created a design inspired by the concept of a water garden (Water garden) paved with multicolored, stones arranged in beautiful patterns. It’s Mathilde’s mosaic pattern that covers both the exterior and interior of the summer calendar, which is also fitted with a black leather and brass carry strap and closure tab.

The calendar comes in a Diptyque branded dust bag which is a lovely touch and the attention to detail is again very Diptyque. I have one of these dust bags, it hangs in my bathroom and collects my skincare and makeup empties meant for recycling.
