How to make mosquito repellent candles
Here are step by step photos and instructions to help you visualize how to build this project. Please scroll down to print the instructions!
- Cut lemons (and/or limes) into 1⁄4” thick slices and place 2-3 slices inside each glass jar.


- Place 2-3 sprigs of herbs (lavender, rosemary or eucalyptus) in each jar.


- Add essential oil (See the recipes below in the printable instruction card).


- Fill the jar with water up to the neck, submerging the citrus slices and sprigs of greens.


- Place a floating candle inside the jar.

Makes: 3 Candles
supplies
- 3 Large mouth mason jar in various sizes
- essential oil Lavender, peppermint, lime, eucalyptus, lemon
- Fresh or fake greenery Lavender stems, rosemary sprigs, eucalyptus stems
- Fresh lemon and lime
- 3 Floating candles
- Tap water Enough to fill each jar
Recipe 1
- 10 drops Lavender essential oil
- 10 drops Peppermint essential oil
Recipe 2
- 10 drops Eucalyptus essential oil
- 10 drops Lime essential oil
Recipe 3
- 10 drops Eucalyptus essential oil
- 10 drops Peppermint essential oil
- 10 drops Lemon essential oil
Instructions
