Adjust the size

Add personal details

Custom touch makes handmade plush toys feel special. If you have an embroidery machine or enjoy hand sewing, try adding an embroidered dog’s name to a plush toy.

Seasonal fabric choices also make for fun decorations. Plaid fabrics work beautifully for Christmas, while floral cottons are perfect for spring and Easter displays.

Common sewing problems

If your fluffiness seems uneven after stuffing, use small pieces of filling and add little at a time rather than a big handful all at once.

Fabric bunching around curved seams usually means that the seam allowance needs clipping. The small pieces around the curves help the fabric sit easily after it is turned right side out.
