An outdoor table lamp is an essential piece to elevate a bistro set. You’ll find them on the tables of most chic cafes or wine bars, casting a beautiful, romantic glow in the evening. I’ve been on the hunt for one, and Aldi’s mushroom lamps are not only chic but the cheapest I’ve found.

Aldi table lamps launch in store on July 9th in two different styles. There is the mushroom lamp, which is a particular favorite of mine, with its conical shape and circular design that will throw more light from the sides. It is available in both black, white/beige and sage; However it is the sharp black version that looks the most expensive and sophisticated to my eye.
Both styles of lamp cost £4.99, which is another great reason to buy them. Most rechargeable outdoor lights will cost you about twice as much. However, there’s another star reason to buy them: They’re solar-powered rather than rechargeable, so as long as you leave them in a sunny spot, they can be left to do their job without having to be plugged into a charger every few days.
This is the most similar solar lamp in terms of looks and price to the Aldi version Solar Black Metal Table Lamp, on sale for £9.60 at Avas.

These table lamps aren’t the only gems in the Aldi SpecialBuy drop this week.
