I’ve never tried an all-in-one vacuum mop before, so I tested the Beldre All-in-One Multi-Surface Floor Cleaner to see what all the fuss was about. Positioned as a one-stop-solution for busy homes where messes and spills flooring This is a regular occurrence, it is designed to do the work of two machines in one.
While my babies are no longer small, they are still capable of dropping food and spilling fluids. Add a small dog and my own slightly clumsy nature to the mix, and it seems like it would be a perfect fit.
The only drawback, as far as I could see before testing, was that I had little storage space to live in as I have a relatively small flat. Still, I put it to the test to see if it was something I would have room for if it was good.

First impression
The Beldre All-in-One Multi-Surface Floor Cleaner came in a large brown box. It wasn’t particularly heavy and I was able to carry it upstairs to my flat alone. Unboxing it revealed a similar-sized box inside, branded with images of the product and text describing its key features.
It was not difficult to open, and was well packed inside to prevent damage during transit. Once unpacked, it was already assembled except for the handle. The clean and dirty water containers were already in place, but since they weren’t fully charged, I had to assemble them and plug them in for the recommended 5.5 hours before I could use them.
Luckily I anticipated that this might be the case, so took the time to do the initial set-up and test over two days. I also timed it to coincide with my need to clean the house, so I’m hoping to see exactly what it’s capable of off-the-shelf.
The instruction manual was (and is) clear and easy to follow Available online through the Beldray website in case you ever lose it), so once the handle was inserted, I placed it on the base tray, plugged it in and left it to charge. A blue indicator on the front of the cleaner shows when it’s charging, making it easy to know when it’s ready for use.
During operation, these lines turn green.
Using Beldre All-in-One Multi-Surface Floor Cleaner
Before using the Beldre All-in-One Multi-Surface Floor Cleaner for the first time, you need to remove the clean water dispenser and fill it with water. The instructions advise that you can also add a little mild detergent for extra cleaning power. the opposite Philips OneUP 5000 Series Electric MopThe one I previously tested and comes with its own supply of cleaning solution, there is none provided with the Beldre Cleaner, or details of any recommended ones.
So I decided to add a small amount of multi-purpose cleaner to the water so that I wouldn’t be cleaning the floor with water.
To remove the water container, you have to press down on it and then pull it away from the main unit. It took a few tries to get the action right, but once I mastered it, it was relatively easy. Then you fill the container, pop it back in and push it into place.
Trying the cleaner on different surfaces
Beldre Cleaner is designed for use on hard floors such as LVT, Engineered wood flooringtiles and Vinyl flooringInstead of carpeted areas. I have LVT in my kitchen, living room and small utility room, tiled floor in the main bathroom and en-suite and then engineered wood flooring on the staircase leading from the front door to my flat which has given me a good variety of surfaces to try the cleaner on.
The instructions state that the cleaner is not designed to pick up large debris, I vacuumed the floor a few days ago because it needed a thorough clean. However, there was still plenty of daily trash and dust, and since the floors hadn’t been mopped in a week, I assumed there would be a decent level of dirt that needed to be picked up.
1. Cleaning tiled bathroom floors
First up was Tiled floor in bathroom. It had some general dust and a few greasy spots from spilled toiletries. Beldre All-in-One Multi-Purpose Floor Cleaner deals with this easily and the floor is sparkling in no time. And, unlike tiptoeing over a wet floor after using a standard mop, the floor was almost dry by the time I was done.
2. Using a cleaner on LVT flooring
my Open plan kitchen diner living room The floor has to deal with everything at once. Cooking, eating, relaxing, snacking, dog zoomies and even the odd football are thrown around when the boys think they can get away with it.
Since it’s the only living space we have, if there are spills and sticky spots in the kitchen, they need to be removed very quickly so they don’t overlook the seating areas. A floor cleaner such as one kept close at hand can be a great solution as I need to tell the boys not to step in certain places until I can get the mop out.
Similar to using it on tiled floors, the Beldre All-in-One Multi-Purpose Floor Cleaner glides across the floor quickly and easily. The spots on the kitchen floor were lifted and the crumbs and marks under the dining table disappeared.
The only loss? I love my fact Shark Anti Hair Wrap and Flexology Cordless Vacuum Cleaner Flexible enough to easily slide down and under the sofa. The Beldre All-in-One Multi-Purpose Floor Cleaner does not have the same features and so I have to move the furniture if I want to clean the entire floor.
Not necessarily a deal-breaker because the cleaner feels more like an everyday life product than a perfect spring-clean.
3. Facing engineered wood flooring
However, the Beldre All-in-One Multi-Purpose Floor Cleaner does not come with any attachments that make it a little easier to use. CDI wanted to try it on as hard a surface as possible. The entrance stairs have engineered wood flooring so I worked my way up and down each step to see how the cleaner worked.
There is a small flat section at the top and bottom of the stairs that is mainly lined with doormats, but the area you come in through the front door gets particularly dirty. Once again, no complaints about how the cleaner picked up existing dirt and debris. Full marks again in terms of performance, but again, further confirmation that in terms of design and getting the most out of it, this is a cleaner best used on large flat spaces.
Disassembling and cleaning the cleaner
When you’re done using the Beldre All-in-One Multi-Purpose Floor Cleaner, you need to clean the brush that sits in the base and essentially does all the dirty work.
However, there is the added bonus of a self-clean function that eliminates some of the problems with this. It is recommended that you do this after each use so that the cleaner is ready for use.
After emptying the clean and dirty water tanks, you refill the clean tank with clean water and put both back in position. Make sure the cleaner is not plugged into mains power, is sitting on the base tray and then press the self-clean button on top of the handle.
Once the cleaning cycle has run for about two minutes, follow the instructions for removing the brush head and if it’s clean, pop it onto the handy slot that’s part of the tray and leave it to dry. Then, put it back in position and you’re good to go next time.
Although it’s also recommended to clean the foam filter inside the cleaner each time, you may decide to give the brush a final rinse in the sink as well – which might be worth it if you’re cleaning particularly dirty floors.
final judgment
Does Beldre All-in-One Multi-Purpose Floor Cleaner Do What It Claims? Absolutely. It vacuums, mops and dries faster than using a separate vacuum and mop. The motorized turbo head also means it deals effectively with stubborn spots, sticky marks or spills – saving you frequent scrubbing with a mop. The floor dries quickly making it safer to walk on and avoid wet feet after cleaning.
The downsides are limited, but in the interest of a fair review, I mention the following.
A 25-minute run time was fine for my small apartment, but I wonder if in larger homes it wouldn’t cover all the hard flooring in one go? You may also need to charge it on a very regular basis if you want to brace it for unexpected spills.
Because there are no joints, it is best used on stretches of flooring that have less clutter or objects to move. And of course, there’s the issue of storage. Unless you have your cleaning kit or a large closet for good Utility room storageIt’s another small appliance you need to stock up on, because while it can replace a mop, I think you’ll still need a vacuum cleaner for larger amounts of dry dirt and debris.
That said, as I said in the headline, if I owned this product 10 years ago when I lived in a large property and had two small children and dogs, I’m sure it would have been used on a daily basis.
It would have saved my stuffed up countless kitchen roll sheets kitchen bins, The vacuum and mop were both pulled out, and bought me back to spend some time doing other things. Would I recommend it to friends with this type of home and life? Yes. For me, with older kids and a smaller property, not so much, but I enjoyed testing it out and imagining what could have been!
