The best place to buy a budget-friendly Shark robot vacuum this week

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you probably know that this week is Amazon Prime Day. But as a Floorcare editor who has covered these sales events for the past five years, I can tell you that Amazon isn’t all discounts. In fact, if you’re looking to buy a Shark robot vacuum this week, I’d recommend shopping at Argos instead.

And right now, Argos is having a huge sale on all its appliances, including the robot vacuum I’ve been using in my own home for the past few months – Shark PowerDetect UV Reveal 2-in-1 Robot Vacuum & Mop (was £999.99, now £549.99 at Argos). Yes, that really is a £450 discount!

And while Amazon and Shark are usually one of the most obvious places to buy a Shark robot vacuum, alternative retailers also drop prices all year round, including Argos and John Lewis.

While I don’t claim to know everything (if only), it is Quite literally My job to review robot vacuum cleaners. So, I like to think I know my hands-free devices. And SharkThe PowerDect UV Reveal Robot Vacuum impressed me so much during testing that I almost had to give it a thumbs up 4.5-star review.

However, one of the things I didn’t like was the price, hence the fact that it is now on sale Argos A big win in my book for almost half the price. Especially since the black colorway I have at home is not on sale Amazon Prime event, and it’s not even on sale at Shark, as it’s completely sold out due to high demand.

However, it is worth noting that white is the way to go On sale at Amazon for £489.99 If you are looking for a bigger discount. But as someone who has tested white robot vacuum cleaners before, I always willingly lean towards the black. Try it And hide the inevitable scratches and marks that appear during cleaning. However, both the colorways are similar in benefits and features.

Shark PowerDetect UV Reveal has a runtime of 180 minutes, yours floor while vacuuming, and comes with an auto-empty dock that can hold up to 1.51L of debris – keeping maintenance to a minimum.

Like all the best Shark vacuum cleaners, it’s ridiculously easy to use and perfect for beginners. Bought his first robot vacuum. However, the pièce de résistance of this model has to be the UV Reveal technology, which revealed many hidden stains on my hard flooring (and embarrassed me).

But I wouldn’t ask you to ditch Amazon and Shark for Argos just because of a robot vacuum cleaner deal.

That’s because Argos has also slashed the prices of other Shark robot vacuum cleaners, including bargains. Shark Matrix Plus 2-in-1 Cordless Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop (was £285.70, now £199.99 at Argos).

Alternatively, you can choose Shark Thermacharged Power Detect Robot Vacuum Cleaner (was £900, now £499.99 at Argos).

I haven’t tested any of them because there are only so many robot vacuums out there and only one of them, so I would advise you to do your own research and read independent reviews.
