I’ll admit, I was initially skeptical about the MeacoFan Sefte 6″ Portable Air Circulator. After all, how much power can a six-inch fan really deliver? However, it’s safe to say that after testing it for over a week, I’ve completely changed my mind.
I have been using recently MeacoFan Sefte Pro 10″ Air CirculatorWhich I’m completely obsessed with, so this little version had a lot going for it if it replaced my current setup.

MeacoFan Sefte 6″ Portable Air Circulator: First Impressions and Set-up
The fan came in a cardboard box and was well protected with paper pulp as well as a reusable storage bag, which would come in handy in the winter when it’s not in use.
The device came with everything I needed to get started: charging cable, instruction manual, batteries for the fan, and remote. I put the battery in, put it on charge, and within a few hours it was good to go. I hardly needed to read the instructions because they were all so self-explanatory.
For someone who constantly loses chargers, I’d opt for the USB-C port. However, I’m impressed that the battery is replaceable, which makes it more eco-friendly and longer-lasting than other cheaper models I’ve seen.
I was pleasantly surprised at how light the fan was, weighing just 1.7 kg with a built-in handle for easy transport. I can even carry it with just two fingers. As for the design, its simple black and white colors blend in nicely with my bedroom.
How the MeacoFan Sefte 6 Portable Air Circulator Performed
good
As I mentioned, I doubted that this small fan would be able to produce any impressive results, but to my surprise, its powerful cooling reaches 16 meters – almost the size of a lorry for scale! It also offers vertical and horizontal oscillation of up to 70° to ensure that the entire room is cooled evenly.
There are 12 different speeds to choose from, which can be controlled manually on the device or via the remote control – which, by the way, attaches magnetically to the fan so you’ll never lose it (genius!) It even glows in the dark, which I thought was great.
The fan has three different modes: Eco, Normal and Night. The latter is a game-changer for light sleepers, turning off the LED display to ensure your sleep remains undisturbed.
Measuring just 32.4 x 21.0 x 18.0 cm, I’d pack this fan for a summer UK stay when I’m not sure if the hotel will have air conditioning or be cool enough. Also, my car’s air conditioning is currently broken, so if a heatwave hits, I can easily put it in the passenger seat.
bad
One thing I was a little disappointed in was the sound. Meaco says the level is as low as 22 decibels, which, for reference, is a little higher than a whisper. However, from around speed level three, the sound can become slightly distorted and seem to pulsate. The rattling noise increased when it was set to horizontal oscillation – even when I placed it on different surfaces.
Maybe my expectations for noise were too high, since it’s such a small device…

Final thoughts
Overall, I was really impressed with this latest offering from Meaco. It might not be the cheapest mini fan out there, but the fact that the battery is replaceable also tells me it will last a long time, rather than one you throw out after a few years when it breaks.
If the MeacoFan Sefte Pro 10″ Table Air Circulator Your price is out of range, having tested both, I can confirm that there is not much difference between the two. Obviously, the 10″ has more power and a bigger range, but if you need and want to save some money you can get away with this smaller version.
It’s lightweight, easy to use, and does an amazing job of keeping me cool – whether I’m working at my desk, trying to sleep, or baking in the kitchen. I love the fact that I can move it from room to room, and the long battery life and short charging time are a great bonus.
