I always thought weeding a lawn was boring, hard work, but then I got my hands on it Gardena weed puller – and he quickly proved me wrong.
If you’re looking for Ways to get rid of weeds in your lawnI cannot recommend this tool enough. It’s a sturdy, long-handled weed puller that’s very easy to use, and it targets stubborn, tap-rooted weeds, like dandelions right at the root, removing the whole thing in one swoop. At £40 from B&Q, it’s a bit pricier than other weed pullers, but having tried it in my own garden, I’d pay more for a durable piece of kit that makes light work of tough weeds.
I had a lawn covered Into the weeds, and it’s really hard and compact, so I thought it was going to be a long way to tackle them all – but Gardena’s Weed Puller cut the time it took me in half, and actually made the job really fun.
This weed puller gets my nod for ease of use, durability, and excellent, well, weed pulling ability.
If I had to rank garden tools by ease of use, I think I’d put the Gardena Weed Puller in the S tier. It’s a simple design: long, with a comfortable handle grip on the end, and light enough to comfortably use during long sessions.
What I found, however, was that those ‘long’ weed sessions weren’t that long. Using a weed puller is really easy – you push the sharp end of the tool into the center of the weed, use the footrest to push it as far as it will go, and then twist the handle 180 degrees before pulling the tool (and weed) out. lawn. There is also a built-in ejector mechanism that you slide to push and release the weed from the weed puller. It is very easy to use and allows you to quickly clear each weed before tackling the next one.
The Gardena weed puller successfully retrieved every weed (in its entirety – roots and all!) 99% of the time. The other 1% was down to misrepresenting the weed puller, so it’s a really accurate tool. I had some Huge Dandelions in my lawnBut it was no more difficult to remove than the small one weed out there. It’s really satisfying to pull the entire root system out of the ground instead of plucking the leaves from the surface like with other weeding tools.

The only thing that worried me, at first, were the holes the weed puller left in its wake. They’re enough to warrant attention, especially once they’ve removed a large weed – but I prefer to think of it as a form. Lawn aeration (which my Compacted lawn Absolutely needed!)
