I saw the cutest idea for a veggie pan somewhere on the interwebs, but as it happens, a tutorial was nowhere to be found. I know you all appreciate it when I share step-by-step instructions and which supplies to buy, so here we go.
Let’s make a DIY vegetable tray that looks like the Easter Bunny’s vegetable garden!
Here are the supplies you’ll need:

The cake board is in the baking aisle in the craft store and the fence will be in either the wood craft aisle or the fairy garden section. The bunny statues are in the Easter decor area.
I just used one cake board and this project was pretty sturdy, but if you plan to transport it a long way, you can glue two cake boards together to make it stronger. The boards I bought came in a pack of three anyway, so honestly you could break down and glue all three together for indeed solid board.
Step 1: Use hot glue to attach the fence to the edge of the cake board. Since the surface is so small, it’s best to work in small sections and hold things in place until the glue sets before moving on to the next section. It will work, promise. And it works best to apply the glue to the board, then press the fence into place, rather than trying to put glue on just each individual stake.

Step 2: When you’ve gone all the way around the board, use the wire scissors to cut off the extra length of fence. Wrap the wires from the end of the fence around the first part of the fence and glue any loose parts with more hot glue.

Step 3: I taped my bunnies in place so they don’t get knocked over when people grab their vegetables. I think they will pop right up when I ask.

Step 4: Fill the tray with rows of chopped vegetables. And don’t forget the ranch dressing. I had this cabbage bowl that just fit the theme perfectly.

And that’s it! Isn’t that the most expensive idea? I can’t wait to bring it to Easter dinner and see my family’s reaction. It will be so much fun!

Why bring a normal vegetable tray to your Easter party when you can bring a garden bunnies tray instead?!
And that’s my life motto summed up here, folks. Make life special! Never be boring!
