this week, Aldi relaunches its cooling bedding range in store, and after a week where Britain saw temperatures soar above 30C, I can’t think of a better time.
While many of us are probably quite happy to enjoy the sunshine during the day, hot and humid nights can be a very different story.
Most people are eager to find out Ways to stay cool in bed During the warmer weather, and with prices starting from just £3.99, Aldi’s cooling bedding collection aims to be an affordable way to do just that.
There are numerous cooling solutions in the Aldi collection. The muslin is breathable and lightweight duvet The cover costs £24.99 and is available in three colours, white, sage and beige.

And then there’s the £7.99 Cooling Fitted and Flat Sheet and the £3.99 Cooling Pillowcase 2 Pack which Aldi says is ‘designed to wick moisture away from the body for a fresh and restful night’.
The budget-friendly retailer is also stocking the £12.99 Silentnight Thermal Regulating the pillow. It has ‘heat sensor technology that helps regulate temperature by absorbing excess body heat, removing any moisture and keeping the body at the optimal temperature so shoppers can sleep well’.
While I’ve been using every trick in the book these last few nights seem to be exactly what I needed How to keep the bedroom cool.

I already have space saved Silentnight Cooling Gel Pillow Pad And big Silentnight Cooling Gel Body PadWhich I pop into the fridge before bed on unbearably hot nights so it can chill my sheets before I come in.
But when it comes How to sleep better In warmer weather, it’s your perfect sleep setup that needs to be thought about.
Fortunately, there are many Bedding materials that can help you sleep betterFrom fluffy linen duvet covers to temperature-regulating wool-filled duvets and Cooling mattress toppers If you have a synthetic or memory foam mattress that is causing you to overheat, it can save the day.
That said, while choosing bedding made from natural fibers has changed for me as a hot sleeper, it’s an investment. However, in my mind, it’s an investment worth making, because temperature plays *such* a big part in how well we sleep.
And, like most women, my temperature fluctuates much more throughout the month than most men, so having a bed that supports how my body works has resulted in much deeper and less disturbed sleep.
The same has happened to every woman I know who has switched to wool bedding and natural fiber bedlinen, such as cotton or linen sheets.

By the looks of it, Aldi’s cooling bedding range fixes a mix of natural fibers and synthetic fibers.
Many sleep experts warn that synthetic fibers like polyester can.steal sleepBecause of their less breathable make-up, but the bonus is that they are much easier to care for (you can usually wash and dry polyester bedding in the same day) and are *much* more affordable.
So if you’re heading to Aldi to stock up on cool bedding, just check the care label to see what fibers it contains and if it delivers what you’re looking for from your sleep setup.
And if you can’t get into an Aldi store anytime soon, I’ve rounded up some options below that can help create a sweat-free sleeping space that’s ideal for those hot and sticky heatwave nights.
