How do you use color to shape the mood of a room?

‘Color is very important to me in my work, and checking color with the light in the room is very important. Remember, color is light, and light is color. Properly pricing, providing detailed estimates, chasing orders to ensure everything arrives on time, and managing cash flow are all part of the business of running a successful design company.
You can have the greatest design team in the world, but if you can run your company right, you’re done.’

What mistakes do you see new designers making the most and how can they avoid these pitfalls?

What habits help young designers early in their careers?

‘We’re really proud of the hundreds of interns we’ve mentored, and many have gone on to amazing careers around the world. The best are those who will do extracurricular education (such as additional CAD courses) or actually try to learn in the studio. Be helpful and offer to help with any task.’
