Whatever the year Lighting trends Says, Edison Ross lamps are always in fashion. The cult brand is favored by many of the Ideal Home team, and if the home editor hasn’t already found one Bobbin LED lamps On his nightstand, I can promise you it’s on his wishlist.

If you don’t already know Dusk, it’s definitely worth checking out the online retailer, as it’s great for curating on-trend styles on a budget. Dusk’s designer-look lighting Especially worth seeing, and worth having a few evening pieces in my own home, including throws, bedding, candles and Lucille Rechargeable LED Lamp (£35)I think I can vouch for the quality of the brand.
So if I was looking for an alternative to an Edison Ross bobbin lamp, I would choose a Kirstie bobbin lamp. Available in two colours, plum and olive, Dusk claims the lamp will be a ‘playful’ addition to your home. I tend to agree.
With a quirky bobbin base and bold pop of colour, this lamp will add a decorative touch to shelves, nightstands or even kitchen worktops (if you don’t have Kitchen lampYou should really consider that!). Since it is rechargeable, you don’t have to worry about plug space; Just pop the lamp wherever you need to light up a dark corner.

My main criticism of the Kirsty lamp is that it lacks the bold, beautiful lacquered finish of the Edison Ross lamp. Available in a variety of dark colors, Edison Ross lamps are renowned for their glossy, luxurious finish, achieved through 10 coats of lacquer. Of course, for only £25, I can’t say I’d like an evening lamp as bright, but it’s something to compromise on.
The Kirsty Lamp has a charging time of 3.5 hours and an operating time of up to 12 hours. In contrast, the Edison Ross Bobbin Lamp offers 10 hours of battery light and has three adjustable lighting levels.
If you like Edison Ross but are less sure about their prices, the Dusk Kirsty lamp is a brilliant alternative. It’s colorful, fun and looks more expensive than its budget price tag.
