Dualit has just become the latest homeware brand to release an ice cream maker with a difference – with no pre-freezing requirements. And You can use it to whip up slushies as expertly as gelato.
The shiny new machine, which comes from a heritage British brand known for its devices ‘built to last a lifetime’, will be available to buy from June 1st for £349.99 (via Dualit).

And the USP of these ice cream makers, the fact that there is no prep time involved, is a huge bonus for anyone looking to spruce up their next dinner party or party. BBQ. As the cost of dining and drinking continues to rise, there seems to be a growing appetite for devices that can allow you to make things at home.
Dualit Ice Cream Maker has the following modes: Ice Cream, Gelato and Sorbet, Frozen Yoghurt, Slushies, Cooling mode and Manual stirring.
The option to manually stir the ice cream, Dualit says, ‘allows users to adjust the texture and consistency based on the recipe’. There’s also an interlocking lid, which allows you to add all sorts of extra ingredients, including chocolate chips, fruit or nuts – while the machine is still churning.

You can also keep your ice cream creation perfectly frozen for 30-60 minutes with this machine, which would be perfect for hosting a dinner party.
