Thistle Farming – Thistlewood Farm

A vibrant arrangement of fresh peaches and plums on plates accompanied by a bouquet of orange roses displayed on a wooden surface.

Random thoughts on a brilliantly sunny Saturday:

1. Did you see there’s a new PBS remake of Forsythes’ Masterpiece coming out next week?

I loved the first series and can’t wait to see the new show.

2. I have the BEST NAIL CRACK for us. I saw these amazing press on nails that you just peel and stick.

I was a bit skeptical. I mean, can it really be as easy as peeling the plastic off and sticking it on? YES. Yes, it’s that simple and they stay on and look SO REAL. I ordered the shorts that come in this neutral pink and I keep getting so many compliments.

You you can see them here.

3. It begins. Our family groups should be participating in March Madness this week.

My favorite time of the year (until football season).

5. It’s been a good week on the blog. We discussed:

6. My azaleas are blooming. I was out in the yard checking on my hydrangeas and noticed the tiniest of pink blossoms on the azaleas.

7. I am planning a graduation party for my niece.

Should I add a topic? Do the themes already exist?

If you have a good idea for a topic, let me know. 🙂

And now?

Let’s see all the amazing things I found for us this week.

A gold-framed display case contains three decorative butterflies with blue floral motifs. A white candle in a brass holder and blue and white patterned eggs are nearby, all placed on a dark surface.

Check out this butterfly display.

They started out as dollar store butterflies.

A decorative center wreath with small white flowers and foliage arranged in eggshells, set on a white pedestal slab in a light, airy room with large windows overlooking the waterfront.

Isn’t this spring wreath just the cutest?

And I love that it’s made with eggs filled with flowers.

You you can see the DIY here.A piece of cheesecake topped with fresh raspberries and mint leaves, served on an ornate white plate with a floral design, set against a dark, rustic background.

Check out this Cream Cheesecake with Raspberry Topping.

Perfect for summer.

You can see the recipe here.

A blue egg with a white butterfly decoration rests on a small white plate, which rests on a green leaf-shaped plate. In the background, there are pink vintage glasses and a blurred table setting.

These eggs are decorated with small butterflies.

And the butterflies are made with hot glue.

Smiling woman with blond hair is standing on a meadow and holding a cup of coffee. She wears a blue striped blouse, black pants and black shoes, with a white house and green plants in the background.

This ruffle blouse is from WALMART.

And it’s so cute with ribbon and ruffles, that blue and white striped layer.

You you can see it here.

Ten ruffled cushion covers in pink and blue floral and geometric patterns are arranged on a white background with vines. Each set is labeled as a pack of 2 cotton pillowcases. The text at the top reads

The cutest ruffled pillowcases.

And they’re on sale right now.

You you can see them here.

A black planter with an obelisk of pink flowers sits on the home's entry steps, complemented by hanging flower baskets and a welcoming porch in the background.

And one more for the road

Looking for a super simple outdoor decor idea?
