Remember because Health hazards

Swallowing the bristles of a metal grill brush poses a significant health risk because the small, sharp wires can easily detach from the brush, stick to the grill or food, and be accidentally eaten. This can cause internal injuries to the throat or digestive tract that may require surgery, damage to the throat and soft tissues that can develop into infection or abscesses, intestinal perforations and obstructions that can impede bowel movements, and even life-threatening complications such as sepsis.

Symptoms to watch out for include sore throat, ear pain, stomach discomfort, or problems going to the bathroom. It is important to note that symptoms may be delayed, potentially appearing several days after ingestion of coarse particles.
