1. Clip the curtains

Annoyed by the light coming through the pesky gap in the curtain? Grab one of the pant hangers from the closet. You can use clips to clip two curtains together and block out the light more completely.

Most hotel rooms don’t offer toothbrush holders, but it’s easy to make your own. Just turn one of the paper cups upside down, punch a hole in it, and slide your toothbrush right in!

While many hotels are nice and quiet, some are decidedly not! Ending up with a door that does nothing to block a noisy hallway can feel like the worst kind of luck.

Have something you need to keep cool, but don’t have a mini fridge in your room? Fill the bathroom sink with ice from an ice machine to serve as a makeshift cooler.

Eating in your room or working on your computer can be difficult if your room does not have a table. But if you have an ironing board in your room, you’re in luck!

In a room with only a nightstand, a person may be without a place to put their phone or glasses when it’s time to turn off the lights. Instead of resorting to the floor, you can use flat sheets to create storage pockets that keep those items within reach!
