Welcome to Saturday Home Style! Wow, we finally hit 500. By my count, HSS has been a part of StoneGable and, hopefully, your life for over nine and a half years. Each week, we’ve unearthed the best from our archives, polished them, and shared them with you.
And Home Style Saturday continues to be one of my most read posts week after week. This series started as an idea of five blogging friends, from Ann at Sutton PlaceFrom the lullaby Design enthusiasmFrom Rhoda Southern HospitalityFrom Janet Shabbifufuand i. We all had hundreds, if not thousands, of archived posts that were still helpful and relevant, and we thought our readers would still enjoy them. So, Lowry came up with the name, and Home Style Saturdays was born. The faces have changed a bit, and new blogs have replaced those who have retired from HSS to pursue new interests, but the heart of the series remains the same.
