For many of us space can be at a premium on our kitchen worktops, which is where the appeal of the Virtuo Up comes into its own. Measuring 25.5cm high and 12cm wide, it’s a real space saver – but just bear in mind that you’ll need 40.5cm of space overall to allow the spout on top of the machine to open.
Along with its slim build, there are some efficient features that can help you get your morning coffee faster including quick heating (which means it can be ready to brew in 3 seconds) and a large water tank for less frequent refilling. The water tank can also be rotated around the back of the machine, so you can sit the machine where it is most convenient.

Another eye-catcher at the pop-up was the machine’s movable cup platform, which, according to Nespresso, works with the ability to make up to 40 different drinks.
You’ll probably use this feature if you take advantage of the new Coffee Creations mode, as this creates a short drink to which you can add milk or other ingredients to make your iced or hot coffee just right.
The pop-up, which is serving ice-brewed Pickled Coffee Cola and Nespresso Double Espresso Chiaro Virtuo Pods, showcases the weird and wonderful coffees you can mix with this machine.
When the Ideal home The odd combination of pickled coffee cola (which is believed to be the drink of choice for new brand ambassador Dua Lipa) could not have won the team. They were impressed with the Virtuo up machines at the show working overtime to serve their coffee to 25 people at once.
