I’ve seen so many amazing butter recipes on the high street right now that starting a collection of the best has never been more exciting! Seriously, if I had the space in my house to display them I would be diving in and making butter recipes my entire persona for the foreseeable future.
Maybe it started last year with the rise of butter yellow in fashion, beauty and interiors, but the whimsical butter dish is definitely having a moment with over 100% of Google searches when I checked this week. I even popped out to my local high street one lunchtime and can confirm that this isn’t just a theory – they were all over the shelves.
If a full-blown collection isn’t an option for me (and it isn’t – where am I going to store them all?), I’ll work on adding one of these beauties to my breakfast setup. I already have classic retro-style glassware (eg This one from John Lewis) which has plenty of nostalgic appeal, but I’m open to swapping it out for something with a bit more character!
