How a large floor mirror transformed our bedroom corner

After painting the walls Benjamin Moore Davenport Tan and adding our new chinoiserie lampsthe room was starting to feel cozy and traditional, but one corner still looked a little different.

I had a small floor mirror I bought into our previous home hanging on the corner.

a sleeping corner with a smaller mirror and a large fig tree.

It works well, especially with the faux fiddle leaf fig I grabbed from the living room for the photo. 😜 But I knew this large bedroom could do with a more prominent mirror. And let’s be honest, the mirror we had was really suitable for a smaller space and I had to bend or step back to see all of myself in it.

So, I searched high and low for the perfect mirror to fill the space between the dresser and column and I found the perfect one! Here it is now!

I’m so glad I waited and saved up for the perfect piece because the large, perfectly sized mirror was the perfect addition to this space!

See how hanging the TV on the wall was also the right decision? I love ours Frame TVand if you’ve ever wondered how to hide cables, I’ve shared tutorial HERE. Don’t worry, I’m also working on a big, chunky frame for the TV, so it won’t look like it’s floating in the middle of the wall for long.
