The front porch is one of my favorite places to decorate for spring. It’s great to add some color and warmth to welcome friends and visitors after our long, cold Canadian winters.

High-end porch planters can be quite expensive. Instead, paint a plain plastic container and then decorate it with a fancy decal for an elegant, custom decor!

Welcome entryway spring refresh
As a family of six our entryway quickly becomes a dumping ground for a million boots, coats, sweaters, bags and more. I love using the changing seasons to refresh and declutter one of the busiest spaces in our home.
After cleaning our entry way doesn’t need much decoration as the space is small. However, I do swap out a few touches to add some spring vibes.

Declutter and clean out those closets using the changing seasons! Here are some spring closet refresh tips to try:
- Pull out and donate any winter clothes you haven’t worn this year: you won’t want to do the same next year!
- Pass by clothes that are too small or too big: there is someone else who will really appreciate them.
- Set your out-of-season pieces to the back of the closet; It will make daily decisions much easier to focus on a smaller set of options.
- If shopping for new pieces, focus on high-quality, durable materials like cotton, wool, and linen. Let’s skip fast fashion and look to second-hand stores for clothing items to love again!
