Since then I’ve tried several different recipes (with varying degrees of success), and I’m excited to share them with you today.
Why cook food in a waffle maker? Well, I’m glad you asked! 😉 Waffle makers apply heat to both sides of the food at the same time, so you can cook it faster than you normally would. Another reason you might want to cook with a waffle maker is that it can be easier to clean than standard methods. (Especially if you have removable plates!) And finally, cooking food in a waffle maker is just plain fun. And sometimes that’s all the reason you need! 🙂 So without further ado, here are 15 foods you can (and should!) make in your waffle maker.

Making brownies is definitely between me favorite Ways to use my waffle maker! The key to success is adding an extra egg to your prepared brownie batter. Then just pour it into your preheated waffle maker and cook!
Just keep an eye on it, and remove it once the brownie has reached your desired doneness. I like to leave mine in for a minute or two longer, so it gets nice and crispy (more like Shoulder brownie than a soft brownie). Give it a try!

You can make quick and delicious pizza right in your waffle maker! Use your favorite homemade pizza dough or buy a tube of ready-made dough in the refrigerated section at the store. Many pizza places will even sell you the dough.
Start with a hot waffle iron. Spread your pizza dough on the iron and close the lid. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes, then flip (if desired) and cook for another 2 minutes or so. Lift the lid, then add the pizza sauce, cheese and toppings of your choice. Leave the lid slightly ajar until the cheese melts, then dig in!

The best part about making cinnamon rolls in a waffle maker is the grid pattern that forms on the finished rolls. When you drizzle the icing on top, those indentations collect all the icing in a super delicious way. Seriously, you have to try this! 🙂
Place a prepared cinnamon roll in each square in your waffle maker, then close the lid. Cook for 2 to 4 minutes or until the cinnamon rolls are golden brown on the outside and soft on the inside. Remove the cinnamon rolls from the waffle maker and drizzle the icing on top.

This is probably the easiest way you’ll ever make hashbrowns! Let the bag of tater tots thaw on your kitchen counter for a few minutes. Drop a handful of melted tots onto the preheated waffle maker, then push the lid down as far as you can. In minutes, you’ll have perfectly crispy hashbrowns!
